They say you can't go home again, so I guess that is perhaps the reason JKR threatened to kill off Harry; why Lara Croft may never look like Angelina again and perhaps why Fox committed suicide. We don't want to be type cast or pigeonholed and after a significant amount of time has transpired we simply cannot pick up the reins again: after all time passes and takes its toll. That's why the Doctor regenerates and the Highlander had to go off the air, a victim of its own premise: a man (immortal) who does not age. Hmmmm. I digress.
My question/proposition is this: If we can suggest a way out of the paradox, can we have our way, and in fact "go home"? Take Fox for example. Can someone please tell the PTB (powers that be) that this is NOT an impossible situation? Can someone pass on the suggestion (Its ok, I won't demand credit but PL will) that Fox did not miss. She did fire a bullet, launched it out into the ether that is our existence with all her skill and propelled by her determination to right the horrific wrong of which she had both tried herself, and passed judgement, and, it found its mark. She did in fact connect with her intended target: her temple, and did fall. Sentence carried out. Justice served. But, MISSION NOT ACCOMPLISHED!!! You see, Fox did NOT die. The bullet in fact after expending much of its deadly velocity on its circuitous route around the chamber, did slam into her cranium, with just enough force to penetrate her skull but having achieved that, simply lodged there. Fox, like Freodo LIVES!!!!

It would be cool if they used this idea....right now it's the only one that makes sense lol
and you can get shot in the head and not die, you can loose part of your skull (but that would be weird seeing Fox with just part of her skull)

Spunky you are brilliant! She could have a shiny metal plate, molded onto her head! That would be both fierce and cool! lolPosted: 01/22/09 21:02:19
nothing is impossible, almost everyone can be brought back from the dead. i'm a simpleton so for me a wanted prequel is the most plausible
shall i read more of this from you, my friend?

My dear NL, I have been neglecting my craft....much too busy, but I am working on it.
I came across our little Xmas song a few weeks ago and got a good laugh.
Re: your points - well taken. A prequel would not necessarily have all the characters from the movie since they have only just recruited Wesley. I suppose we could get an interesting script outlining the "Adventures of the Fraternity" but I do not think that would grab Angie's attention, peak her interest enough to get her to come back. A sequel would allow them the opportunity to repair/make amends for unwarranted assassinations, and pursue the relationship between Wesley and Fox. Of course all this is wishful thinking! lol

YESS! That's great, I didn't think of the plate last night, and they can just go with the face that she has "a metal plate in her head" and have twice the fierceness!
